Practical guidance and heart speak from down-to-earth wise women for modern times
Our IntentionRaven Tongue is so much more than just a magazine.
We, our dear readers and contributors both, are a restorative community. We meet through our words, our art, our stories, our invitations, and our receptivity. We find each other, as well as ourselves, within these pages, We lift each other up. Exchange. Collaborate. Connect. Re-village. Individually, and collectively, we're cultivating the medicines most needed while leaning into our hard won wisdom, inhabiting our bodies, nourishing our creative selves, and tending to our spiritual nature, |
As Raven Tongue grows, our intention is to cultivate even greater support for our community.
Amplifying the voices of many more women as they speak their lived experiences,
breathe into suppressed stories of the feminine, and offer both wisdom and witness for our readers.
Our goal as a publishing house is also to compensate our contributors well, support their skillsets and businesses,
and foster matriarchal ways of working.
This looks like writing only when it feels fresh and alive within us or waiting until perimenopause brain-fog clears, extending due dates when 'life happens', ensuring time for healing in sacred space when topics dredge an old wound, or resourcing tech support among us. It's late night phone calls for a card reading or voice clips sharing navigation tips when shadow banned on social media. It's recommending a sister when we know she'll do a better job of it. It's doing everything we can to ensure we all thrive.
